• What: We are removing the bamboo stand that's on Northbank Trail right after the Maymont Ramp

* Why?: Golden bamboo (Phyllostachys aurea) is a medium level invasive species in Virginia. It hadn't been a top priority for the ISM team compared with some of our other park sites, buuuut...

• How: We're collaborating with the JRPS Trail Crew and @rvamore as they work to reroute this strip of trail for sustainability purposes. Since a lot of work is going to be done down there in a couple weeks anyway, we figured what better time to clear this mess out?

• When: Saturday, April 11 from 9am-12pm
