We Build Trails for Every Type of Ride

We care for all kinds of trails around RVA — because everyone enjoys them differently.

  • Singletrack loops built for riders who love flow, roots, and a little challenge.

  • Paved pumptracks are considered all-weather riding surfaces, but the ground around them still needs maintenance to provide support.

  • Natural surface trails that keep that wild, close-to-nature feel while staying accessible for all.

No matter the type, every trail we work on gets the same hands-on care — clearing debris, fixing drainage, adding signage, or carving out new lines. It’s all about keeping our trails safe, sustainable, and fun for everyone who uses them.

Trail Etiquette 101

Here’s the fine print that keeps things fun:

Stay off closed sections

When we say “closed”, it means “fragile right now”. The best way to respect the trails is being mindful of when you ride.

Share the trail kindly

Don’t forget, bikers yield to hikers/horse-riders; everyone watches for others. Be sure to represent the cycling community in a positive light. Want more trails, be kind!

Respect nature

No trash, stay on the marked trail, avoid widening lines. These are things that can have a negative impact on our trail system. If you see an issue - report it!

Be ready for anything

Trail surfaces change, weather shifts, ride within your skill zone. Getting stuck several miles from your car is no fun, be ready for the unexpected.
