Get Dirty. Ride Easy.

Help Keep RVA’s Trails Alive.

Your time, your effort—our trails—and the community wins.

Why Your Help Matters

Richmond’s outdoor scene thrives because people show up. When you volunteer with RVA More, you’re not just digging and trimming—you’re helping build safe, fun trails for all users. Protecting green spaces and preserving access. And finally, connecting with a community of outdoor lovers.

What does a Volunteer Day Look Like?

Don’t worry, we hear this question a lot.

  • Typically, we meet around 8 or 9 am in the parking lot or trailhead. Say hello, make some new friends and grab some tools.

  • We will tackle tasks like clearing brush, repairing water run-off, adding signage, or building new tread. It depends on the trail and the issues at hand. Don’t worry you’ll be with the group and the trail leaders are ready to answer any questions.

  • A very important question, and the answer is, “you betcha!” We will have snacks to share with the crew, but, its never a bad idea to bring your own as our quantity is limited.

  • Finish things up with some high-fives and yee-ha’s. If there’s time, maybe a quick ride or walk to check your handiwork.
