There is still one more tree to clear off of the trails and then some tidying up to do to get things ready for the 18 Hour Race, which is less than two weeks away!
So we are making one final push to get the trails in good order on Saturday, September 14th at 9am. Bill Swann will also be out marking the race course this Saturday.
So please, if you have an hour or two free on Saturday morning, your help in getting the trails ready would be greatly appreciated!
Meet us at the Cub Camp Pavillion (turn right upon entering the camp – 1723 Maidens Rd. Maidens, VA 23102)
You will be rewarded with a ride afterwards that starts at 1:00 p.m.
What to bring:
Bug Spray!
Sturdy shoes or boots
Gloves
Protective eyewear is recommended
Water, snacks and/or lunch
If you have hand tools such as leaf rakes, pruning/lopping shears, bow saws please bring them.
