So about that paved part of North Bank! A new portion of single-track will be constructed to link the section of North Bank running behind Maymont to the rest of the trail. Once it is completed it will be possible to ride, run, or hike North Bank from end to end without having to get on Kansas Ave, keeping you off the pavement and out of traffic! The new trail will run along the canal approximately where the red dashed line is in the picture above. The existing trails that connect to Kansas Ave and the Texas Beach parking lot will stay in place so the option to take the current route will still be there. We’re really excited about this project but it is going to be a LOT of work so we need your help! There will be multiple trail building days to help support this initiative.
