Our fingers are crossed, hoping for sunny weather this weekend. Thanks to all the volunteers that have come out during the past several rainy weekends. The progress you’ve made has been extraordinary.
The new all-weather trails have held up great in the recent rains and been one of the few dry spots on the island. The new boat put-in/take-out will enhance the the river opportunities for paddlers – giving access to the James River below the fall line.
This Saturday (barring rain or snow), we’ll be back working on the new all-weather beginner level trails on Chapel Island. These trails will be a great way to introduce people to off-road riding, so come out and lend a hand and help us with the project that will help expand the mountain biking community.
