The rain is moving in earlier than expected, so we’re postponing this week’s trail work until next Saturday.
Apparently a few people ate a little too much over Thanksgiving and decided to burn off the extra calories buy laying some rock last weekend – Thank You!
The rock work on North Bank is nearing completion. With over 80 feet of armoring compete, we need to finish armoring a 6 foot section in the middle of the hill, rework the bottom berm and fill in the tire catchers on the upper switchback.
We hope to finish this up in another weekend or two. This week (Saturday, December 6th) our focus will be the final bit of armoring and reworking the berm. We’ll get started at 9am at the back of Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Bring some gloves and water. Even if you only have an hour or two to spare (or even 30 minutes in the middle of your ride), your help will be appreciated.
