Thank to all the trail gnomes that worked out on Buttermilk that past two weekends – the weather wasn’t great, but the work that was done sure is! And we got it finished in less time than we thought!

This weekend (Saturday, October 26th), we’re moving back into Forest Hill Park.  We’re going to get a start on a project the involves a armoring a section that has lost up to 6″ of dirt in places over the past few years due to high volumes of water run-off from the area above the trail.  We also have a small re-route planned that should be pretty sweet. The closest parking is on the 600 block of 34th St. between Springhill and Stonewall Streets.  Meet behind Patrick Henry Charter School (Forest Hill and Semmes) at 9am.  This week, we will be stopping at noon so folks can get to RVA Ride Center fundraiser at 1:00.
