Fall Trail Building Class

A big thank you to all the volunteers that came out to rvaMORE’s annual trail building 101 Class. This class gives an overview of the advocacy work rvaMORE has done to keep access to your trails and the building techniques used to build and maintain sustainable trails. After class, the volunteers headed over to Buttermilk to do some rock armoring. The group started the work on the first little climb on Buttermilk if you are heading west from Reedy Creek. Work was also done to improve the drainage at the top of the area. There is still about 15-20′ left of work to finish but it was a great start.
