This Saturday, February 7th, work will resume on Buttermilk East. During the last two volunteer days, over 900 feet of trail was bench cut into a steep hillside. We’ve almost made it from 22nd St. to the Lee Bridge, but we’re not there yet. We have a couple of connecting sections to cut in, there’s some bench cuts that need a little more work – perhaps a small retaining wall or two and there are a few rocks to rearrange under the bridge.
Please come out and join us from 9am until about 1pm on Saturday the 7th. We’ll be meeting next to the JRPS truck that will be parked on Riverside a little east of the 22nd St. Tower. Bring some gloves, study shoes, water and a snack. The weather is looking great, so come on out and lend a hand.
