The 2nd annual Terrapin Beer trail work day was held on Saturday, November 24th. Trail work was done on the new ‘blue’ level hiking trails at Pocahontas State Park. This trail is part of an overall new group of hiking trails which are being built on the Swift Creek side of the park. There were almost 30 volunteers who came out for this special event which included mountain bikers and hikers! Lots of great work was completed. This was a great example of folks coming together to help each other achieve a common goal of more trails! Big Thanks to Austin Brooks with Terrapin Beer & to all of our volunteers. After a beautiful day in the woods, everyone got together at Brew Pub to socialize!
