This Saturday we’ll be starting a route on Buttermilk. The section east of the boardwalk with rotten stairs is a text book fall line trail. High speeds and poor sight lines make for safety issue, the boardwalk is rotting from underneath and the section between the hill and the boardwalk is a perennial mud spot. The new trail will routed on the hillside. We expect the reroute to take a couple of week.
Meet at the Reedy Creek Parking Lot at 9am on Saturday, February 27th.
Bring water, gloves and sturdy shoes.
