Deep Run Park Pump Track

Project Overview

Deep Run Park, located in Henrico County (Short Pump), granted rvaMORE, permission to build first-ever suburban paved bicycle skills course ( aka pump track) in Central Virginia. The track is custom designed to suit riders of all ages and abilities. The building of the track will take approximately two weeks to complete. During those two weeks, a team of 4 dedicated builders (DirtSculpt, LLC) will be on-site full-time. The track will be finished with a top layer of asphalt. Finishing the track in asphalt eliminates the need for extensive track maintenance and ensures the track can be used in all weather conditions, year round, without issue. Additionally, it gives the installation or more permanent, finished feel that users expect to find at Deep Run Park.-

Volunteer work will complete the finishing landscaping, fencing and entrance signage. rvaMORE developed and managed the extensive fund raising effort, bringing in numerous local business and national companies to make this project a reality. Three Chopt District Supervisor Tommy Branin and officials from Henrico Recreation and Parks were instrumental in the success of the project. We extend a sincere thank you from the community.
